About the Wood:
Our swings are built with level IV autoclave-treated wood, with durability of more than 10 years in the garden. The wood always shows cracks due to its living nature and changes in temperature and humidity, without affecting the strength, safety or durability of the swing.
For those looking for an aesthetic with fewer cracks, we offer square wooden swings, with fewer cracks than round ones. But if you can't stand that wood, which is a living material, has its imperfections, we recommend that you buy a metal swing.
Anchoring and Safety:
Safety is paramount. That's why all our swings include hot-dip galvanized steel anchors for ground fixation. The anchors are for sand or grass surfaces, complying with safety regulations.
Domestic Use vs. Commercial Use:
Swings differ in regulations and structure. Those for domestic use (EN71-8) are for private gardens and come with plastic or wooden seats and ropes. Those for commercial use (EN1176-1177) are more robust and feature rubber seats and chains. The swing you are looking at is for domestic use, so it can only be installed in the garden of a private home.
